A list of useful Online resources for Medical students!📜📜📜

Someone once told me, "Medicine is a marathon, not a 100-meter dash". So, on your long road of lifelong learning ahead of you. Here is a list of resources that may help you along the way. We will continue to update this list as we continue to find out more.

Youtube:

1. Larry Mellick:

https://www.youtube.com/@lmellick/about

This channel is dedicated to teaching emergency medicine procedures and displaying unique and interesting medical conditions.

It is an extremely useful resource, and it is a very well-put-together YouTube channel.

I hope someone in JIPMER can start a channel like this, as we come across so many interesting cases and teaching points.

2. Stanford Medicine 25

I cannot stress how important this channel was to my medical training. It highlights the importance of the physical exam and its relevance in modern medicine. The content is excellent, with remarkable people such as Dr.Abraham Varghese sharing insight and extremely valuable information that can really positively influence medical professionals.

I highly recommend their website as well.

3.Brian Sutter MD:

It is very helpful for ortho and other subjects as well. Highly recommend to people who are interested in sports. We can also learn a lot from the way he communicates very clearly and how he handles his content. It will be useful if you are part of any sports team or live following sports. We used to recommend this to all our JIPMER Football Team Juniors. (Even though most of the content is based on American sports, he does cover international sports as well).
